It appears that education agent aggregator Educo Accelerate has quietly closed its doors. A click on its website – https://educoaccelerate.com/ – delivers the news:
EduCo Accelerate was the dedicated brand of the education agent aggregator business operated by Educo International Group (EIG). EIG is a private education company that describes itself as a “globally connected team of international education professionals that helps connect international students with a network of universities worldwide”. Founded in 2010, it began as a higher education provider by acquiring private colleges in Melbourne and Vancouver, offering tertiary degrees in business as well as hospitality management. Soon after, it operated Southern Cross University branch campuses in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. It also established partnerships with universities in the US and Ireland.
In July 2024 several of EIG’s institutions and businesses were acquired by BPP Education Group. The EIG home page offers a detailed description of the various transactions.
Until at least July 2025, the EduCo Accelerate website remined live and boasted a “managed network of 3,000 professional recruitment partners” to help institutions diversify their student mix. That number of sub-agents placed it well within the group of business operating dedicated agent aggregator buiness models, as the chart below from May 2025 shows:
