Education New Zealand will launch a revised online education agent training program in November 2018.

According to ENZ’s Manager – Agents, Dan Smidt, the update is long overdue:

The current online agent training program has operated largely unaltered since 2013, and there have been considerable changes in technology and learning styles since then that mean the program is not as effective as it could be.

The current ENZ education agent training program was switched off on 30 June 2018, and is now unavailable to agents.

The new program will be more user-friendly for education agents. Smidt said:

The program will be re-designed from the agent perspective and have a range of tools, resources and training material that will assist agents in promoting New Zealand as an international education destination.

In late 2017, the New Zealand Government announced that it planned to regulate education agents.
