The University of Sydney Business School is offering a range of scholarships to top students from markets across Asia.

They range in value from $5,000 to $20,000 Australian dollars and are now being offered to students from:

  • India
  • Indonesia
  • Thailand
  • Malaysia
  • Singapore
  • Bangladesh
  • The Philippines
  • Vietnam, and
  • South Korea.

International student enrollments at the University of Sydney Business School have grown quickly over the past 5 years.  The total enrollment is now around 14,000 students.

The aim of the scholarships is to make the international student population more diverse by expanding the number of countries that students come from.

Deputy Dean of the University of Sydney Business School, Professor John Shields said:

We are selecting the region’s best and brightest with the aim of enhancing the intellectual and cultural breadth and depth of our student cohort.

About 30 international scholarships have so far been offered to “elite” students who have already received a firm offer to study at the University of Sydney Business School.
