Describe UHSA in a few sentences
Founded in 1982, the University of Health Sciences Antigua (UHSA) located in Dow’s Hill, Piccadilly Antigua is an outstanding academic institution dedicated to educating physicians, nurses, postgraduates and researchers in accordance with the highest professional standards who will integrate clinical, biomedical and behavioral knowledge to promote the health and well-being of patients and communities.
Why should international students consider studying at UHSA?
We are one of the oldest private medical schools in the Caribbean. Our organization is small, and we pride ourselves on training future physicians and nurses. Further, Antigua is a very safe island and our 50-acre campus has 24/7 security and on-campus housing.
What role do education agents play in your international student recruitment strategy?
We are seeking to diversify our student population. Currently, the great majority of students are from the United States, so it is very important that we increase our international student body.
What do you look for in new education agent partners?
We are seeking agents who are passionate about serving prospective students. From a business standpoint, we are seeking results driven individuals and those who are honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
How do you work with education agents?
We currently do not work with education agents. There have been those who we’ve established agreements with in the past, however, they were not effective and oftentimes, not trustworthy.
Want to work with UHSA?
We welcome new agents and look forward to supporting and growing new partnerships around the world.
