In late 2022 a Spanish court sentenced the owner of education agency Tu Futuro en Australia to one year and nine months in jail for a fraud which involved scamming 13,500 euros from three students who wanted to learn English in Australia. The basic facts of the case are that the three students paid the education agency for English courses in Australia that never existed and were never provided. According to the media report, when the victims’ money reached the agency’s bank account the operators disappeared.

Back in early 2017 – over 6 years ago – Tu Futuro en Australia was also in the news, with Australian media reports alleging that up to 100 international students – mostly from South America – had been ripped off by Tu Futuro en Australia.
