In 2019 we posted about serious sexual assault charges laid by Victoria Police in Australia against Melbourne based migration and education agent Frank Hu.

Hu reportedly managed a group of migration, travel and education agencies called the Lakenest Group. One of the businesses in the group was education agency Visa Station. It seems that Visa Station was sometimes also known as Visa Station Australia, and Visa Station Australasia.

Important: Visa Station Australia should not be confused with other businesses with similar names, including:
Australian Visa Station (very similar names but different businesses)
…and there may be others that we have missed.

On 28 February 2023, Hu faced the County Court of Victoria and pleaded guilty to eight charges of rape. According to The Age newspaper, the court heard that, between early 2016 and early 2020, Hu “used hot chocolate, coffee and juice to secretly sedate at least seven women whom he filmed while he abused them.”

Following the guilty plea Hu, who has been held on remand for over three years, was again remanded in custody to await sentencing at a later date.
